Tahar Stream, which is a favorite of local and foreign tourists visiting the city, promises a unique atmosphere to camping lovers with its lush wooded area and long walking paths. Tahar Stream, which has a fascinating feature in every respect, is located within the borders of Çemişgezek district of Tunceli. Passing by the town center and continuing its journey towards Keban Dam, the impressive nature of Tahar Stream welcomes picnickers of all ages throughout the year. Therefore, thanks to the calming texture of the tea and the clean atmosphere of Tunceli, you can experience a camping experience that you can explore while resting. The distance from Tunceli to Çemişgezek district is approximately 132 km. Therefore, it is possible to reach the minibus regularly from both routes. You can also come to Tahar Stream Campground with your own private vehicle or take advantage of the free parking spots.

Tahar Stream was built by Yusuf Ziya Pasha in 1807 and repaired in 1902 by Diyarbakir Governor Akif Pasha. Tahar Bridge, which is a historical value over Tahar Stream, has a length of 55 meters, a height of 9 meters and a width of 5 meters. Moreover, the Tahar Bridge, which was built using cut stones suitable for its period, was built in a single-eyed form and with pointed arches. Therefore, when you go to Tahar Stream, you can have the opportunity to discover the historical traces that the bridge has carried to the present day. You can easily reach the town center at Tahar Stream Campground, where you can camp by the creek or under the shade of a big tree. You can easily benefit from the markets, butchers, grocery stores and restaurants located here during the camping period.

At Tahar Stream Campground, where you can rest your soul with the chirping of birds and the sound of tea, there are fascinating climbing routes surrounding the town center and paths where you can explore the clean atmosphere. Therefore, we can say that the region is especially visited by travelers. Moreover, if you come to Tahar Stream Campground in summer, you can enjoy swimming in the tea to the fullest. The free camping area can have the harsh cold of Tunceli in the winter season. For this reason, we recommend that you prepare for winter camping before you come.
