Keşiş Bahçesi Kamp Alanı

One of the favorite routes where you can discover historical beauties while getting to know nature is the Monk Garden. Located just below the hill where the Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı and İshakpaşa Palace are located, the Monk Garden allows you to go on a dream-like trip with its majestic appearance. There is a distance of 7 km between the Monk Garden, which was established on a large and green spot in nature, and the city center. It is possible to reach the famous garden on the left side of the İshakpaşa Palace road by public transportation vehicles going in the direction of the palace. You can also reach the Monk Garden by private car by following the Ishakpaşa Palace signs from Doğubayazıt district.

The Monk Garden, whose history dates back to the 16th century, is known as the famous region where the story "Kerem and Aslı" took place in the 16th century and Kerem crossed these mountains to see Aslı. It is possible to come across local and foreign visitors in every season in the Monk Garden, which has managed to find a place in the dusty pages of history with its famous story. Today, the Monk Garden, which is a very well-kept garden, has unique ruins where you can discover the local culture together with the unseen natural beauties of Doğubeyazıt. You can enter the garden for a small fee, take a walk, explore nature and dine at the restaurant. After touring the garden for a small fee and meeting your important needs such as WC and electricity, you can find flats outside where you can pitch a tent. Therefore, we can say that the Monk Garden Campground will offer you unforgettable times where you will discover history, culture and nature.

There are paths where you can spend peaceful time and take long walks in the Monk Garden Campground, which is powered by the calmness of a lush nature. Therefore, you can take a look at the gifts of nature while taking a historical tour in the garden. You can choose the Keşiş Bahçesi Camping Area in every season of the year to escape the heat of Eastern Anatolia or to make a winter camp among the white snow cover. If you are going to the region for free tent camping in winter, you should make a comprehensive preparation by taking into account the cold temperatures of Ağrı.
